Williams Landscape and Design wins ‘Best Of’ award

The company has been sprucing up homes since 2002. Now they're taking home an award for their work

WILLIAMSBURG — The best landscaper in the region is located right here in Williamsburg.

Williams Landscape and Design of Williamsburg was awarded the “Best Landscaping” Award by Coastal Virginia Magazine, according to a press release from Proximo Marketing Strategies.

Voting for Coastal Virginia Magazine’s Annual Best Of Reader’s Choice Awards concluded at the end of March. The awards are broken down into several categories, including home, food, services, shopping, recreation and wellness.

“Best Of” winners will be featured in the July issue of Coastal Virginia Magazine, said Brenda Whitlow, the magazine’s account executive for the Peninsula. They also will be invited to a party honoring the winners July 26 at the Decker Half Moone Center in downtown Norfolk.

Owner and Williamsburg resident Aaron Williams said he was honored to win the award.

“We always strive to provide the best in everything that we do, so it is nice for our team to be recognized this way,” Williamsburg said. “Thank you to everyone who voted for us!”

Williams Landscape Design began its first project in 2002. The company has since completed hundreds of custom kitchens, patios, fire pits and commercial projects.

According to the release, Williams got hit start in landscaping with Colonial Williamsburg during high school and college. He earned a bachelor’s degree in horticulture from Virginia Tech in 1998.

Voters are only allowed one vote per day per category.

Greater Williamsburg food truck Foodatude…Food with Attitude took home the Best Of Reader’s Choice Best Food Truck on the Peninsula award.
