WILLIAMSBURG — After 40 years, Mathew Whaley Elementary School’s annual Strawberry Festival is still going strong.
This year’s festival will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday (May 11) at the school, 301 Scotland St.
The festival will feature carnival games, inflatable amusements, arts and crafts, music, food and, of course, strawberries. In addition, there will be a silent auction featuring tickets to area sporting events and attractions, travel and class gift baskets.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the Mathew Whaley PTA.
