Look at these photos and watch the video. Then call police if you have information

NEWPORT NEWS — Police are searching for a man they say robbed a convenience store Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities also are asking the public’s help in identifying the man  —police released surveillance photos and video footage of the suspected robber.

Officers responded to the incident at Tinee Giant convenience store, 12596 Warwick Blvd. at around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.

There, a store clerk told police an unidentified man with a handgun went in the store and demanded money.

Police said the clerk complied and the suspect took the cash then fled on foot northbound from the store.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white man wearing a black hooded jacket, a black mask over his face, and red and white pajama-style pants.

Authorities ask anyone who may have information about the robbery, or the identity of the suspect to call the Crime Line at 888-LOCK-U-UP.
