New Partnership Supports Facilities Maintenance at U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown

Five new members were recently welcomed aboard at U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown to provide facility maintenance for the entire base through a partnership with Brevard Achievement Center and Tessera. (Brevard Achievement Center Enterprises)

YORKTOWN — Brevard Achievement Center Enterprises, LLC, a subsidiary of Brevard Achievement Center, recently announced its partnership with Tessera on the AbilityOne contract to deliver comprehensive Facilities Maintenance Services at the United States Coast Guard Training Center in Yorktown.

TRACEN Yorktown serves as a vital training hub for the U.S. Coast Guard, dedicated to its mission: “Forge Today’s Force to Execute Tomorrow’s Mission.” By supporting workforce performance and unit readiness, TRACEN ensures that graduates are “Semper Paratus” — always ready — to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Under this new partnership, BACE will provide a full suite of Facility Maintenance Services to support the operational effectiveness of TRACEN Yorktown. The services include Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Systems, Electrical Systems, Fire Alarm and Suppression Systems Equipment, Food Service Equipment, Custodial Services, Building Structures, Water Storage and Distribution Systems, Sewer Systems, Motor Vehicles, Pest Control, Refuse Collection and Disposal, Grounds Maintenance Services and Surfaced Area Maintenance.

This work directly supports the Coast Guard’s mission by ensuring that facilities remain safe, efficient, and fully operational, allowing service members to focus on their essential training and readiness.
