HAMPTON ROADS — The Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia recently announced it has launched early registration for Give Local 757.
The region’s largest 24-hour online giving day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5.
The 24-hour giving day is hosted annually by the Peninsula Community Foundation, which describes the event as “a powerful call to action, encouraging everyone to invest in the local nonprofits that make our community thrive.”
According to PCF, by registering, an organization gains immediate access to the platform, training and support.
This year, PCF said it is amplifying visibility as TowneBank steps in as the Presenting Partner, joining partners at the Hampton Roads Community Foundation and media partner 13News Now. It is also adding new programs, including personalized assistance with interns from Christopher Newport University’s President’s Leadership Program, offering dedicated help with profile building and outreach.
PCF is strongly encouraging nonprofits serving the 757 community to register early to secure their place and access the best value. Early Registration is open now through Dec. 31. The fee for this period is $100, a savings of $125 off the regular registration fee of $225 that takes effect on Jan. 1.
“The success of Give Local 757 is a direct reflection of the incredible generosity and dedication of our community,” said Tammy Flynn, director of the event. “We urge all eligible nonprofits to join to take advantage of the lowest fee, our upgraded platform, and the combined marketing strength that has already delivered over $14 million for their peers.”
