HISTORIC TRIANGLE — The June Democratic Primary is Tuesday, June 17, with candidates for lieutenant governor and attorney general on the ballot.
The Republican Party will not hold a statewide primary, as its candidates are running
uncontested. All 100 seats in Virginia’s House of Delegates will be up for election this fall. There are eight contested GOP state House primaries, but none are local.
Polling places will be open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. If you are in line at 7 p.m., you are still able to vote; do not get out of line.
Same-day registration is available, but those who register will be required to vote a provisional ballot.
