HAMPTON ROADS — VDOT’s list of full closures of interstates, ramps, bridges and primary roads, and single-lane closures at the bridge-tunnels the week of Jan. 21-27.

Bridges and Tunnels

Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel, I-64:  

• Single-lane closure in both directions Jan. 23 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Mobile, single-lane closures westbound Jan. 24-25 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel, I-664: 

• • Alternating, single-lane closures southbound Jan. 21-25 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

James River Bridge, Route 17: 

• Single-lane closures in both directions Jan. 22-25 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Brief, intermittent stoppages in both directions:
  • Jan. 21-25 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Jan. 22-26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

HRBT Expansion Project:

Elizabeth River Tunnels (Downtown/Midtown Tunnels):

• Information from Elizabeth River Tunnels for maintenance schedules and lane closures on the Downtown Tunnel (I-264), Midtown Tunnel (U.S. 58) and MLK Expressway (Route 164).

I-64, Southside Widening, High Rise Bridge Expansion:

• Information about lane closures and other project impacts related to the I-64 Southside Widening and High Rise Bridge Project.

I-64, Hampton Roads Express Lanes:  

• Information about lane closures and other project impacts related to the Hampton Roads Express Lanes.

Hampton: 

• Full closure of the off-ramp from I-64 east to Rip Rap Road (exit 265C) Jan. 23 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Full closure of the off-ramp from I-64 east to Settlers Landing Road/Woodland Road (exit 267A) Jan. 24 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Long-term, continuous single-lane closure on I-64 in both directions, reducing travel lanes from three to two lanes between Settlers Landing Road/Woodland Road (exit 267) and LaSalle Avenue (exit 265A), with I-64 west traffic shifted to the I-64 east lanes. View the full traffic alert.

Norfolk:

• Full closure of the ramp from I-564 east to I-64 west Jan. 23 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Full closure of the on-ramp from Tidewater Drive north to I-64 west Jan. 23 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Full closure of the off-ramp from I-64 west to Tidewater Drive south (exit 277A) Jan. 26 from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Norfolk, Reversible Roadway:

• Full closure in both directions:
  • Jan. 20 from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Jan. 21-26 from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.
  • Jan. 22-26 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
