
JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County (JCC) Board of Supervisors met for its monthly business meeting on Jan. 25 at the James City County Government Center, 101 Mounts Bay Rd.
During the two and a half hour public meeting, the Board heard from JCC Chief Civil Engineer Shawn Gordon on updates to the County Facilities Master Plan. The plan develops affordable and implementable ways to meet the County’s space needs between now and the year 2040.
JCC Communications Manager Latara Rouse was also on hand to present the board with the County’s Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2021. This report highlights the JCC’s accomplishments for the fiscal year. The report for 2021 and all subsequent years can be found on the JCC website.

The JCC Board of Supervisors holds a business meeting at 1 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month except in August and December. There are no public comments made during these meetings.
The Board has a regular meeting at 5 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month except for August. The regular meetings do allow for public hearings and comments.
