YORK COUNTY — The York County Board of Supervisors will convene for its first regular meeting for the year to adopt its 2022 Rules of Procedure.
The Rules of Procedure are regulations regarding how the board conducts its business during meetings. It stipulates rules such as how often the board meets as well as establishing quorum and voting procedures. The Rules are reestablished during the Board’s first meeting of each year.
After considering the Rules of Procedure, the board will then elect a chairman and vice chairman. Those positions are currently held by District 3 Supervisor Chad Green and District 2 Supervisor Sheila Noll respectively.
This is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. on Jan. 4 in York Hall, 301 Main St.. To read a complete list of the rules being submitted to the board, click here.
The Board of Supervisors meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month. Meetings are open to the public and can also be viewed live on the York County Announcement Channel (46 Cox and 38 Verizon) or streamed on the York County website.
