From Women’s Business Council Tables of 8 Lunches to Business After Hours networking at The Virginia Beer Company and Great Wolf Lodge, the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce has had an eventful summer.
We especially enjoyed celebrating the vision and growth of The Edge District at our Running With Scissors event at the end of July. Along with over thirty supportive members of the community, the Chamber hosted a total of 13 back-to-back ribbon cuttings in partnership with the economic development offices of York County, the City of Williamsburg, and James City County.
The Chamber is also looking forward to its September Business After Hours, which will be held at CMA’s Williamsburg Ford on September 16th at 5 PM. The event is co-hosted by CMA’s Williamsburg SCORE, and Local Daily Media.

The Chamber is proud to present its annual night of Oktoberfest at Busch Gardens Williamsburg on October 12th, 2021. It’s the only after-hours private party at Busch Gardens this fall. Bring your friends and co-workers as we celebrate Oktoberfest in the Germany area of Busch Gardens, and enjoy a fun evening of food, drinks, games, prizes, a live DJ, photo-ops with roaming Howl-O-Scream characters, and unlimited rides on Verbolten, the Swings, Der Autobahn Bumper Cars, and Mach Tower. Designed to make advertising simple and applying straightforward, the Job Dashboard is being promoted on social media, sent to local schools, and distributed weekly to the Chamber membership in the weekly newsletter.
