Police in James City County are asking the public for help in finding two people they say robbed two 7-Elevens Tuesday.
The first incident was at 2:20 a.m. at a 7-Eleven, 7211 Richmond Road in Norge.
Police said “two unidentified males” went in the store and demanded money. One of the suspects “brandished a large fixed blade knife.”
The pair then fled with the loot – money and merchandise.
York Poquoson Sheriff’s Office’s K9 also responded and assisted James City County officers with searching the area.
Police said investigators later found out that sometime around 2:06 a.m., two unidentified males matching the description of the two involved in the previous incident entered the 7-Eleven located at 8185 Croaker Road and demanded money.
No weapon was displayed during this incident, police said.
The clerk was uncooperative, and the two suspects fled without any money or merchandise.
There were no injuries in either incident.
The two suspects were seen in a small blue or black sedan, police said.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have information about the incidents – or can provide the identities and whereabouts of the suspects – to contact Investigator Logan English at 757-603-6033 or logan.english@jamescitycountyva.gov or call the Crime Line at 888-LOCK-U-UP.
