Vehicles, a home and police radar equipment vandalized in James City County

James City County Police said the Windsor Forest neighborhood fell victim to “multiple acts of vandalism,” and they need the public’s help.

The incidents were reported between April 20 and April 27.

Authorities said a radar trailer belonging to the police department, three vehicles and a home have been spray-painted, and a window in a vehicle was broken out.

The incidents were on Devon Road, Buford Road, Sheffield Road and Hempstead Road.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in those areas, know those who may have been involved or has a home security video camera systems (including doorbell cameras) that may have captured the incidents to contact Investigator Jason Slodysko at 757-259-5161 or Jason.slodysko@jamescitycountyva.gov. Callers to the Crime Line and P3 Tips users may remain anonymous, do not have to testify in court and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 if the information provided leads to an arrest, police said.
