YORK COUNTY — An 18-year-old man died after being shot in the chest last Friday night in York County, according to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded at about 11 p.m. Aug. 7 to the 100 block of Emma Rose Court in reference to a shooting incident, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies found an 18-year-old male victim who had been shot in the chest. He was transported by ambulance to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead from the gunshot wound.
The Sheriff’s Office released no additional information, and the investigation remains ongoing.
