Utility work that will start Monday, March 9, will result in the closure of a portion of Indian River Road, according to a press release.
The City of Virginia Beach said that to safely facilitate the work, the westbound outside lane of Indian River Road between Manatee Drive and Sandra Lane will be closed.
Warning signs will be posted advising motorists of the utility work. Area residents will have access to their properties at all times. The work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. the same day; weather permitting.
