Cox Communications is offering free wifi and charging station use at all of their stores in the Hampton Roads area.

Currently the stores on the Southside portions of Hampton Roads like Virginia Beach and Norfolk are closed because of Hurricane Dorian. However, the Cox Communications stores on the Peninsula are open, said Jessica Dawley, a spokeswoman with the company.

“Once the [Southside] stores reopen that WiFi and charging stations will be available,” Dawley said. “We expect to be open Saturday.”

In addition, Cox television customers will have access to the weather channel for free now until Monday.
