The Chick-fil-A on Mooretown Road in Williamsburg is closed for renovations.
“Please take note,” a popup said on the restaurant’s website. “We are currently closed while we remodel our restaurant. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait for you to see it when we’re done!”
On its Facebook page, the restaurant said it would be closing Thursday afternoon for the remodel.
Other nearby Chick-fil-A locations include Monticello Avenue in Williamsburg, Tribe Square on Richmond Road near William & Mary and the Patrick Henry Mall in Newport News.
Chick-fil-A wrote in an email to app members that the restaurant is tentatively scheduled to reopen in mid-October, but the date is to be determined.
According to the email, renovations will feature a farmhouse-style interior, double lane drive-thru, outside meal delivery canopy and bypass lane, sliding glass door in the drive-thru, improved parking, more kitchen capacity and cooking equipment, dining room trash compactors and more.
