NORFOLK – Police here are looking into the circumstances surrounding a double homicide following a shooting Thursday night.
Around 7:50 p.m., dispatchers received a call for a gunshot disturbance in the 6500 block of North Military Highway.
There, officers found two men inside a parked car suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the men, Tamian Davis, 23, of the 5200 block of Clover Hill Drive in Portsmouth died of his injuries after being taken to a hospital.
The other, Markee Turner, 29, of the 2400 block of Seaside Road in Melfa died at the scene.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have information about the incident to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3 mobile app.
