VIRGINIA BEACH — The Sandler Center for the Performing Arts has signed up to be a Toys for Tots toy drop off site this holiday season from Nov. 12 to Dec. 9
The Center wants help from all over Hampton Roads to collect as many toys as they can.
New, unwrapped toys will be collected at the Box Office, located at 201 Market St.
The Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Toys will be collected during normal business hours and during events.
Toys can be donated for newborns to children age 11.
The object of Toys for Tots is to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future. By donating new and unwrapped toys, the Hampton Roads community will be able to help brighten a family’s holiday season this year, according to a news release from the Sandler Center.
