The I-64 and I-264 interchange improvements have been underway since October 2016. The work will reconfigure the way motorists exit I-64 and access ramps to Newtown and Witchduct Roads. According to VDOT, the first phase of the project will cost $158.7 million. It it slated to be completed in 2019.
