Sheriff’s office seeks help in identifying 4 who may be involved in E. Rochambeau shooting in York County

YORK — The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify several people who may have been involved in a shooting in June on East Rochambeau Drive.

Deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of East Rochambeau Drive around 2:21 a.m. June 28 after a woman was shot while travelling in a vehicle, the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office said last month.

Authorities believe she was traveling east, away from Walmart, when a vehicle approached her car from behind and began shooting at her.

The vehicle is described as a light-colored sedan.

The woman was taken to a local hospital after the incident. Her injuries are not considered life-threatening, the sheriff’s office said.

The four people who the sheriff’s office is looking to identify were seen on Walmart surveillance cameras June 28.

An associated photo released by the sheriff’s office shows a gold or tan SUV driving through the Walmart parking lot.

Those with information should call the sheriff’s office Facebook tip line at 757-890-4999 or call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
