NORFOLK — Police are investigating the death of a 2-year-old girl after she was found unresponsive in a home.
Around 3:40 a.m. on April 24, police and fire-rescue were dispatched to the 9600 block of 20th Bay in Ocean View for a toddler that was unresponsive. When medics arrived, they immediately took the child to Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughter. Police said the child was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police are investigating this incident as an undetermined death, and said the office of the chief medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
