Williamsburg Police identify man struck, killed by freight train

Williamsburg Police have released the identity of a man who died last week after he was hit by a freight train traveling through the city.

Curtis Lee Gray, 57, of Williamsburg, was hit by a train while trying to cross the tracks around 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of York Street, according to Williamsburg Police.

He died later that night at Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg, police said.
