UPDATE: Incident blocks lane on I-64 at Busch Gardens, leaves 4-mile backup

Update 9:30 a.m. Wednesday:

All lanes have reopened on Interstate 64 near Busch Gardens, according to VDOT.

A four-mile backup remains.

One westbound lane is blocked on Interstate 64 near Busch Gardens due to an “incident,” according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The incident is at Exit 243 on the right side of the road.

Traffic is getting by in the left lane, but major delays are expected, according to VDOT.

The backup is about four miles.
