The Division I Junior Pee Wee Virginia Beach Mustangs beat the Florida City Razorbacks 25-14 over the weekend to win the Pop Warner National Championship at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports at Disney World.
This is the Mustangs’ fourth national championship since the program was started in 2001.
The Division I Pee Wee Mustangs, however, were not successful in their quest to win the championship in their group as they were defeated 20-14 by the Palmetto Raiders from Miami.
This is the fifth championship for the Raiders since 1999.
