Norfolk police search for accused armed convenience store robber

NORFOLK — Police are searching for an armed man they believe robbed two convenience stores in Norfolk last week.

The first armed robbery happened around 11:50 p.m. on Nov. 14 when a man holding a red or pink handgun came into the Tinee Giant at 2338 E. Princess Anne Road and took money. The second one happened on Nov. 14 when a man, also carrying a similar handgun, stole money from the Good Time Mini Mart located at 2327 Sewells Point Road just before 10:30 p.m., according to the Norfolk Police Department.

In both robberies, the man fled the scene before the NPD arrived.

Police say the man is in his 20’s and stands at about 5-feet-10-inches tall. During both robberies he wore a black hooded jacket and red bandanna over his face.
