Police are looking for who’s responsible for keying a car and breaking a taillight in New Town last week.

James City County Police received a report of vandalism in New Town on Saturday, according to police spokeswoman Stephanie Williams.

The man told police he had parked his car near Cogan’s Deli & Sports Pub, then went to see a movie around 10:30 p.m. Friday.

When he returned around 12:30 a.m., he discovered his Nissan Altima had been scratched on the passenger side front door, trunk, driver side rear quarter panel, driver side back door and driver side front door, Williams said.

A passenger-side taillight was also smashed, she added.

Police are still investigating and seeking more information in connection with the incident.
