Virginia Beach police searched for alleged 7-Eleven robber

VIRGINIA BEACH — Police are searching for a person who allegedly used a gun when robbing a Virginia Beach 7-Eleven on Thursday night.

The robbery happened at the convenience store located at 814 Baker Road around 11:45 p.m., according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.

A surveillance image released by the VBPD shows a person standing in front of a counter and pointing a gun. In the image, the person appears to be wearing a white bandanna over their face, an orange shirt and black pants.

Police say the person took cash and fled on foot into a nearby neighborhood.
