VIRGINIA BEACH — Police are searching for an armed man who allegedly robbed a Virginia Beach bank on Wednesday morning.
According to police, the man went into the Fulton Bank, located at 3545 Dam Neck Road, showed a gun and stole an “undisclosed amount” of money. He left the bank and fled toward Princess Anne Road.
The man left an object behind in the bank, which lead the Virginia Beach Police Department to send their bomb squad team to the scene; however, the object was determined not to be a threat.
No one was injured during the robbery. The man is described as being of medium build and 5-feet-9-inches tall.
