
VIRGINIA BEACH – Police are asking the public to help identify a man they say robbed a bank Thursday morning.
Just after 10 a.m., a man entered a Wells Fargo, located at 5293 Princess Anne Road, and handed a teller a note demanding money according to a news release. After the teller complied, police said the man left the bank.
Police said he was last seen walking towards Sentara Leigh Hospital.
Police described the man as beieng in his late 20s to early 30s, thin and about 6 feet tall. Police said he has very short hair and a red/brown beard. The man was wearing a black ball cap with white logo, wire-rimmed glasses, a brown Star Wars shirt, red shorts and black tennis shoes.
