VIRGINIA BEACH — An overturned cement truck near Naval Air Station Oceana Friday afternoon has shut down surrounding roads.
First Colonial Road and Potters Road are shut down to traffic due to the accident. They are not expected to open until 4 p.m. or later, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
Some fuel from the cement truck has also spilled onto the road, although the Virginia Beach Fire Department is unsure of the extent of the spill, according to VBFD spokesman Art Kohn.
