VIRGINIA BEACH — A person is dead after being hit by a car near the intersection of Holland Road and Buckner Boulevard on Tuesday.
Police say the person wasn’t using a crosswalk when they crossed the street in the 3200 block of Holland Road around 9:21 p.m. The person was hit by a 2014 Toyota Camry that was traveling south on Holland Road, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene of the crash.
Police haven’t identified the pedestrian yet.
