VIRGINIA BEACH — Police are investigating a crash that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries Saturday afternoon.
Authorities responded to the crash on the 3500 block of Pacific Avenue at 1:51 p.m., according to a Virginia Beach Police Department news release.
When officers arrived, they found the male motorcyclist had been seriously hurt.
First responders took him to a local hospital and the injuries are believed to be life-threatening, the release said.
Police said the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Pacific Avenue and hit a car traveling west on 35th Street, turning left at the intersection.
According to the release, this was the only injury as a result of the crash.
The department’s fatal crash team is still investigating this case.
