VIRGINIA BEACH — Seventeen people were displaced after a fire at an Oceanfront condominium complex, the city’s fire department said.
The fire, which was first reported shortly before noon, occurred at Summer’s Point Condominiums on Lake Drive. Twelve units were damaged by smoke and fire, with others were damaged by water and broken glass, according to the Virginia Beach Fire Department.
The fire also caused part of the roof of the third-floor end units to collapse.
The fire department said no one was injured but that a dog was missing.
