The Virginia Beach Police Department hosted a recruiting expo at its Law Enforcement Training Academy Saturday afternoon. Prospective recruits learned about the selection process, applied for positions, met with current police officers and saw several pieces of equipment, including armored vehicles, a bomb squad robot, weapons horses and a chopper.
