GEICO’s Virginia Beach regional office at 1345 Perimeter Parkway named a new vice president this week. John Pham will oversee all business functions for Virginia and North Carolina, including GEICO’s military, motorcycle and recreational divisions, according to a release.
“John has built an impressive GEICO resume working in several management roles, and most recently running operations in New York, where GEICO is the leading auto insurer,” Bill Roberts, GEICO president and chief operating officer, said in a release. “I’m confident GEICO’s Virginia Beach region will continue to excel under John’s leadership.”
Pham joined GEICO in 1990 as a management intern, and was later named a sales director. He then directed GEICO’s motorcycle division and was elected an assistant vice president of claims for GEICO’s Fredericksburg, Va., office in 2005. He assumed the same role for GEICO’s office on Long Island prior to becoming regional vice president of the company’s New York operations.
