Stores throughout the Historic Triangle have announced Black Friday deals and hours, many of which start before the Thanksgiving holiday has concluded.
A list of local store hours with links to their advertised sales are below.
Williamsburg Premium Outlets
The Williamsburg Premium Outlets will open at 6 p.m. Thursday and not close again until 10 p.m. Friday.
Weekend hours are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Click here for more about holiday hours, and here for a list of promotions by store.
New Town
The advertised Black Friday hours in New Town are:
- Barnes & Noble: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday
- Bath & Body Works: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday
- Chico’s: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. The Chico’s in Merchants Square will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
Walmart
On East Rochambeau Drive, Walmart will roll out its sales in three phases. The first starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, followed by the next at 8 p.m. and the third at 6 a.m. Friday. Other deals are being offered ahead of the holiday. Click here to see sales by day.
Marquis at Williamsburg
York County’s Marquis at Williamsburg will get started with holiday sales on Thanksgiving Day:
- Best Buy: 5 p.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday, reopens at 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- DICK’s Sporting Goods: 5 p.m. Thursday to 10 p.m. Friday
- JCPenney: 5 p.m. Thursday to 9 p.m. Friday
- Kohl’s: 6 p.m. Thursday to midnight Friday

Settlers Market
Many retailers in Settlers Market, a shopping center that opened last year near New Town in James City County, have listed Thanksgiving and Black Friday hours:
- Cost Plus World Market: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday
- Five Below: 7 p.m. to midnight Thursday, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday
- HomeGoods: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday
- Michael’s: 4 p.m. Thursday to 2 a.m. Friday, reopens at 7 a.m. Friday to 10 p.m.
- Stein Mart: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday
- Ulta: 8 p.m. Thursday through 10 p.m. Friday
Monticello Avenue
With many new stores expanding the commercial offerings of Monticello Avenue this year, the street has many options for Black Friday Shopping.
Bed Bath & Beyond will be open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, and Pier 1 Imports will be open from 8 a,m. to 10 p.m. Friday.
The Target on Monticello Avenue will be open 6 p.m. Thursday to 11 p.m. Friday. Some deals start Wednesday. Click here for more information.

Yankee Candle’s Midnight Madness sale starts at 10 p.m. Thursday and runs through 6 a.m. Friday. The store reopens at 7 a.m. Friday through 10 p.m. Click here for details.
