Nobody was hurt Thursday when several shots were fired at a house in the York Terrace subdivision in Upper York County.
The shots were fired at the house at about 1:39 a.m. by an unknown person or persons, according to a post on the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. Several bullets struck the house. A car parked nearby was also struck.
YPSO Lt. Dennis Ivey said there is not a suspect or vehicle description connected to the case. He said the shots appeared to have been fired from a handgun.
The residents were home when the shots were fired.
Deputies responded to a shots fired call in York Terrace in June, however that incident doesn’t appear to be connected, Ivey said.
