Five shell casings from a semi-automatic handgun were recovered from a street in Seasons Trace on Nov. 3 after the James City County Police Department responded to a report of shots fired.
The casings were found on the 800 block of Sugarloaf Run in the back of Seasons Trace, a sprawling neighborhood located off Longhill Road in James City County.
Maj. Stephen Rubino of the James City County Police Department said the person who called police reported several people were in the street yelling before the shots were fired.
When police arrived on scene, nobody was found. There was also no indication anyone was hurt from the gunshots.
