A York County man is dead after a Monday morning shooting at a residence on the 200 block of Barham Boulevard.
Deputies responded to a shooting call around 12:28 a.m. When they arrived at the residence, they found 24-year-old Devon Coates who was pronounced dead at the scene. He lived at the residence, according to Lt. Dennis Ivey of the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.
The residence is located in the Yorktown Square and Rivermeade apartments near the fire station on Goosley Road in Lackey. Yorktown Middle School is nearby.
