Did you see the weekend’s so-called “supermoon?”
According to National Geographic, the moon was at its closest distance to Earth on Sunday, resulting in a moon that was 8 percent larger and 17 percent brighter to the naked eye.
Maryland resident and WYDaily.com reader Michael Horlick set up camp on the Colonial Parkway at about 11:30 p.m. June 22 to observe the event. He used camera equipment to capture the bloated moon, which you can see in the video above.
