Legends Bar & Bistro, Black Angus Grille and Fat Boys Cheesesteaks — which were owned by the same man and in the same building in Williamsburg — have closed.
The following statement was posted on the website for Legends and Fat Boys:
“It is with deep sadness that we will be closing our doors on, Monday, May 13th, 2013, and wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyal patronage over the years.”
Calls to the stores were not returned.
The closures come less than three months after Fat Boys Cheesesteaks opened. At the time, owner John Majors said he was excited to offer cheesesteaks to the area, as there were no restaurants that specialized in the sandwich near Williamsburg. At that time, he also said the menu for Legends Bar & Bistro had recently changed.
