
The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for two women who used counterfeit money at a Food Lion on Hampton Highway in York County around 5:10 p.m. Jan. 24 to purchase several prepaid Visa cards.
An email from Lt. Dennis Ivey of the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office said the women used $1,514.85 in counterfeit money to buy the Visa cards. A physical description of the woman was not available. The women were seen in the company of a black male age 18 to 25.
