Gordon Ramsay’s ‘Hotel Hell’ Looking for Williamsburg Applicants

A producer for “Hotel Hell,” a Fox reality TV show hosted by Gordon Ramsay, has contacted the Williamsburg Hotel Motel Association looking for applicants for the show.

Lisa Ganz, senior casting producer for the Fox TV show, contacted WHMA on Friday in search of hotels, bed and breakfasts, inns, resorts and lodges in need of assistance to increase revenue or make changes.

“Hotel Hell” debuted on Fox in August and was picked up for a second season. In it, Ramsay visits struggling hotels and motels throughout the U.S. and tries to help reverse their situations.

“Whether the establishment has been affected by the economy, family dynamics, Hurricane Sandy or they just can’t figure out the problem, let Gordon come help,” the email to WHMA reads.

The email indicated the hotels that participated in the last season of the show have had increased business.

Hotels must have been open for at least one year and have at least a small kitchen or dining area to qualify for casting.

Interested hotels should call 917-678-9996 or 646-320-2067 or email [email protected]. Applicants should include:

  • Name
  • Business title at the hotel
  • Contact number
  • Hotel location
  • Number of rooms
  • Type of food served
  • History of the hotel
  • Number of full- and part-time employees
  • Amenities provided
  • Whether hotel is in tourist area
  • Number of people who can be seated in the dining area
  • Whether hotel is year-round or seasonal
  • Whether hotel is family-run
