York Police on Lookout for Alleged Wal-Mart Thieves

The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s office is on the lookout for an unknown man and woman who allegedly tried to steal merchandise from the East Rochambeau Drive Wal-Mart.

The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is looking to the public for help in identifying a male and female suspect who allegedly tried to steal merchandise from the Wal-Mart on East Rochambeau Drive.

According to a press release from the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office, Wal-Mart employees observed an unknown male and female concealing merchandise in Wal-Mart bags. The male suspect was pushing a cart with items in it and the female was carrying Wal-Mart bags with merchandise. After moving past the registers and toward the door, they were confronted by Wal-Mart Loss Prevention employees. They left the items behind and ran out of the store to an unknown silver vehicle.
