A James City County Homeowner Association and neighborhood leadership meeting scheduled for Jan. 10 has been canceled.
The event was to be the first of its kind. Elected HOA board members were invited to attend the session to provide feedback on the fiscal year 2014 county budget, as well as neighborhood issues.
“We hope that this is the first of a continuing exchange of ideas with HOA representatives,” said Renee Dallman, James City County communications specialist. “We also hope that County HOA leaders will become better connected to one another and perhaps consider a countywide neighborhood and HOA leadership group.”
The James City County Board of Supervisors and County Administrator Robert Middaugh would have hosted the event at the Law Enforcement Center at 4600 Opportunity Way. The event will be rescheduled but, as of Monday, no new date had been set.
