Railroad repairs near Lee Hall in Newport News will mean a change in schedule for the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority’s Gray Line beginning Friday at 7 p.m. and continuing through Monday morning at 5.
The repairs have closed Warwick Boulevard in both directions, so WATA will run a bus from the Transportation Center to Lee Hall and another vehicle from the Transportation Center to the WalMart Distribution Center. Transfers will occur at the Transportation Center.
The Gray Line will connect with Hampton Roads Transit by taking Route 143 to Yorktown Road and Elmhurst Street. Travelers should expect bus runs to be slightly delayed for the duration of the weekend’s service change.
The stops at Falls Reach Parkway and Lee Hall Baptist Church will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday.
