Meet Jay, this week’s adoptable pet.
Jay is a five-year-old terrier mix that has been at Heritage Humane Society since January 2020. The best word to describe Jay is “loving.” He adores being around people, and his whole face lights up when he gets attention and love from the staff and volunteers at the shelter. Jay would make a wonderful addition to someone’s family. He has lived with other dogs before, has great leash manners and is overall a sweet, easy-going dog. He is heartworm positive, but the Adoption Team would happily discuss the treatment involved to potential adopters. Jay really hopes his new best friend is right around the corner! Could it be you?
