Meet Liza and Minnelli, this week’s adoptable pets.
These two floppy-eared bunnies are as sweet as can be and total best buds. When they are not nestled close to one another for a nice long afternoon nap, you will find them snacking on their favorite bunny treats side-by-side. They do most everything together and the staff at the shelter are hoping to get them adopted together. Currently the shelter has six adoptable rabbits waiting to be adopted.
The shelter does not just rescue and care for homeless dogs and cats. Heritage Humane Society also takes in a large number of small critters throughout the year (guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, gerbils, etc.). Did you know in 2019, 101 small pet companions were adopted from Heritage Humane Society? If you are looking for a new furry family member, consider adopting a rabbit. They make wonderful pets and can even be litter box trained!
