Hometown Radio Interview: $50,000 Gift Match Challenge Supports Heritage Humane Society On GivingTuesday [AUDIO]

Tuesday, Dec. 2 is GivingTuesday, the global generosity movement that takes place annually the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Heritage Humane Society has a Holiday Gift Match Challenge exclusively on GivingTuesday. All donations to the animal shelter on Dec. 2 will be matched up to $50,000, so donations made on GivingTuesday will effectively go twice as far toward supporting HHS and the homeless pets in their care. The gift matching is made possible by North Carolina Furniture & Mattress and community pet supporters. HHS Executive Director Kim Laska and Marketing and Communications Director Jenny Sellers visited the 92.3 FM the Tide studio (along with adoptable kitten Athena) to talk about the Giving Tuesday gift match challenge, and how donations enable HHS to carry out its mission.
