WILLIAMSBURG — The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation has announced it is reducing admission prices for 2025 ahead of the nation’s 250th anniversary and the foundation’s centennial in 2026.

Beginning Jan. 2, The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation said it will implement the following pricing:

  • Single-day admission for adults: $35 (30% reduction from $49.99).
  • Single-day admission for youth (ages 6-12): $10 (nearly 66% reduction from $28.99).
  • Children under age 6: Complimentary admission.
  • Online ticket purchases: Additional 10% savings.

According to the foundation, this represents the lowest ticket prices since 2006, except for temporary COVID-19 pandemic reductions.

The foundation has also announced admission to the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg will now be free, however, it cautioned Hennage Auditorium programming may require an additional ticket.

It also announced the following:

  • School Groups: Admission will be reduced to $10 per student to enhance educational opportunities.
  • Good Neighbor Pass: Eligibility expands to include all residents of Williamsburg, James City County, and York County. Pass price increases to $35, providing year-round access at the cost of a single-day ticket.

The foundation noted “every ticket purchase continues to support Colonial Williamsburg’s educational, preservation, and research efforts to share the diverse stories of America’s founding.”
